When on side of the creative world is becoming brighter with new ideas, there is a bulk of folks who tent to choose the more travelled. We call them the Template Folks. For them everything is a template.

It is more than two decades that websites have become part of our business. It is used for various purposes like marketing, promotions, campaigns, sales and what not. But one thing that didn’t change about websites is that we get same old same men, design and format. Even the contents are almost same. They tend to change the colour and logo for some reason. Otherwise they all look the same.

People tend to use templates coz the clients never know what they are expecting from a website or what is the use of a website. And the designers see this opportunity for easy money. But the real problem is once it is made there is no use of these websites. It just becomes a dead investment and the only things client do is to renew it, that too if the hosting team reminds him about.

There is an ocean of opportunity for websites if we use it correctly. We need to understand the potential viewers and what we need to deliver. Website designs can make people love and trust the products. Google is best examples. With that single page they have made a very huge impact on people.

You may have to spend some money for a good website. But trust me, it’s worth it.

It is high time we do something original to websites and move from the templates world to creative a world.
